Trans-Form Your Inner Strength Into Physical Strength
As Trans humans, we are resilient, courageous, capable, and strong of mind and spirit! But, for many of us, our bodies have not always been a source of safety or comfort, and they have not always reflected who we are on the inside the way we want to be seen on the outside.
This program has been designed to help us get reconnected with our bodies- to find in them strength, power, and ease of movement so that we can navigate the world with as much confidence and comfort as possible.
What is Fitness: Trans Formed?
Strength training has been linked to a wide variety of positive outcomes for all populations but some of these benefits can be even more impactful for Trans people.
This program has been designed specifically BY and FOR Trans/Non-Binary people, with our needs, our realities, and our bodies in mind. We offer a safe, gender-affirming space where you can show up as you are, exactly where you are at in this moment.
Our team is educated and equipped to support you with a variety of Trans specific topics including but not limited to:

Who Is This Program For?
We are an inclusive, intersectional, body accepting facility.
This program is specifically designed to cater to individuals who identify as Transgender, Two-Spirit, Non Binary, or are otherwise gender non-confirming.
Only you know your true self and can define your gender identify.
We will respect all gender identifies, pronouns, and presentations.
We are committed to dismantling oppressive social structures and recognize our responsibility in providing a safe, trauma-informed experience.
What Can You Expect?
We want your experience to be as enriching as possible!
Strength training is a highly individualized process, and we want to equip each participant with the knowledge they need to meet their individual goals and thrive in their bodies.
Over the course of the six weeks, each participant will receive, in addition to instruction on fundamental movement patterns and safe lifting technique instruction:
A comprehensive fitness consultation and movement assessment with a Certified Personal Trainer
A fully customized training program designed around your goals and desired outcomes
Instruction and education on fundamental movement patterns and safe lifting practices
Supervised small group fitness training sessions in a fully private, safe, and supportive environment
Access to a Behaviour Management specialist for advice on nutrition, goal setting, and mindset
Optional workshops focusing on a wide range of topics relating to Trans Health and Wellbeing

Hello! I’m over the moon to welcome you to the first official cohort of Fitness Trans Formed.
As a Trans-NB human, creating a safe and accessible space for Trans people to explore and enjoy fitness and exercise has been central to my personal mission since graduating from the NAIT Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma program in 2017.
For the past six years, I have dedicated myself fully to the mission of bringing fitness to every body and everyone and I can't wait to help you discover the freedom and joy that exists within your body.
