SETTING OUR OWN TRAINING PACE

WE BELIEVE IN ONLY MOVING IN WAYS THAT FEEL COMFORTABLE TO US AND AT A PACE THAT FEELS SAFE… AND THAT’S EXACTLY HOW WE PLAN TO APPROACH OUR REOPENING STRATEGY!

While we are grateful to the government for laying our its minimum parameters and vision for a smooth reopening, the overwhelming feeling in our community was that this pace felt too fast and too uncertain for us to forecast and plan towards.

Throughout this entire experience, we believe that our saving grace has been trusting our gut and intuition, as well as working closely with the feedback we receive from our members. These have led us to be more aggressive in our operational restrictions and closures, and much more cautious when it comes to reopening than what we were technically allowed to do. But, as the saying goes, “just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.”

So, as we have done in the past, we are opting for a significantly more cautious approach. We have divided the three stages proposed by the government into six, and have delayed the government’s proposed reopening timeline by a minimum of six weeks.

While we are prepared to move forward with outdoor training (1:1 and Group Fitness) starting on June 1st, the studio will not begin re-introducing indoor group fitness until July, and will not be lifting restrictions surrounding indoor masking and distancing until the fall.

While this timeline still feels a bit fast to us, we know that this will give us the flexibility to adjust our timeline as needed, and pull back if it becomes necessary to do so.

PLEASE NOTE: THE FOLLOWING IS A PLAN, AND LIKE ALL BEST-LAID PLANS, IT IS BEST VIEWED WITH FLEXIBILITY AND WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT CHANGES MAY NEED TO BE MADE TO ADAPT TO THE SITUATION AS IT EMERGES.

PLEASE FURTHER NOTE THAT ALL ONLINE SERVICES WILL CONTINUE TO BE OFFERED INDEFINITELY. THIS INCLUDES ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING, LIVESTREAM CLASSES, ONLINE BEHAVIOUR COACHING AND SUPPORT, AND ONLINE SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES. WE ARE EAGER TO CONTINUE TO EXPLORE THE WORLD OF HYBRID SERVICES, SERVING YOU ON-DEMAND, ONLINE AND ON-SITE!
